Why Tai Chi?
So here I am practicing Tai Chi at the Beach. It took me 2 ½ years to take advantage of the invitation to join and I’m so glad I did. Tai Chi is a mind-body practice that is said to originate in China and is often described as "meditation in motion." It consists of a series of slow, flowing movements and deep breathing exercises. Many studies suggest that Tai Chi can have numerous benefits for individuals as they age. It is my goal to hold Tai Chi classes even for my 20 grandchildren.
